UAE weather alert: NCM forecasts cloudy skies with chance of light rain tomorrow
Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea conditions expected to remain relatively calm
DUBAI – The United Arab Emirates (UAE) is expected to experience partly cloudy to cloudy weather tomorrow, with the possibility of light rainfall in several areas across the country.
Forecasts from the National Centre of Meteorology indicate that cloud cover will increase at times, particularly over western regions, coastal areas and islands.
Weather conditions are likely to remain relatively stable across most parts of the country, although residents may notice occasional cloud build-up during the day. The forecast also points to light showers developing in some locations as atmospheric conditions shift across the region.
Cloud cover
According to the National Centre of Meteorology, skies will vary between partly cloudy and cloudy at intervals throughout the day. The cloud activity may become more noticeable across western parts of the UAE, where light rainfall is considered possible.
Coastal areas and offshore islands could also see brief periods of cloud accumulation, bringing the potential for scattered light showers. These conditions are expected to remain localised rather than widespread, with most areas continuing to experience typical early spring weather patterns.
The forecast reflects seasonal atmospheric changes that often bring occasional cloud development across the Emirates during this time of year.
Wind conditions
Winds are expected to remain light to moderate across most areas, although they may freshen at times during the day. The National Centre of Meteorology reported that winds will blow from the northwesterly to northeasterly direction.
Wind speeds are forecast to range between 10 and 25km/h, with occasional gusts reaching up to 35km/h in some areas. These conditions could lead to brief periods of stronger breezes, particularly in open and coastal locations.
Despite the gusts, overall wind activity is expected to remain within moderate levels and is unlikely to significantly affect daily outdoor activities.
Sea state
Marine conditions are expected to remain relatively calm across both major bodies of water bordering the UAE. In the Arabian Gulf, the sea will be moderate to slight.
Tidal patterns indicate the first high tide will occur at 16:19, followed by a second high tide at 04:07. The first low tide is forecast at 10:03, while the second will take place at 21:40.
In the Oman Sea, conditions are expected to remain slight throughout the period. The first high tide is predicted at 13:15 and the second at 00:06. Low tides are expected at 18:18 and again at 07:04.
